![]() In most RPGs the combat ends up being a sideshow while storytelling and decision-making take center stage. Not to mention they're RTWP which I really dislike because it feels like a lazy band-aid solution to make the boring combat go by quicker. There's stuff like Dragon Age and Pathfinder and Pillars but all of those are class-based and don't have the same affinity for level-design and variety that makes the combat so incredibly fun in D:OS2. D:OS2 is in such a damn league of its own for me, though. Subbing to this discussion because I'm also curious. I'll probably pick it back up soon now that you mentioned it. It was really a lot of fun though and the character creator and the plethora of armor and weapon designs was perfect for me. I played it earlier this year, and later with a friend but we suddenly stopped after our controller wires were messing up and disconnecting all the time and then forgot about it. the story of nioh 2 is its main weak spot, you wont enjoy the story, you wont play it for the story.) (this is because the second area literally has no ties to fort joy and at the moment of the area change it feels like an unneeded sideevent, the transition to the third and fourth area feel much less meaningless. I always get bored by the time I finally escape and I didn't even explore any of the outside world. (you literally cant feel lost in nioh 2, nioh 2 isnt as easy as DOS2, you wont get bored) ![]() ![]() But it seems I'm more just getting lost and not really having fun with any builds I want to try etc. (there is multiplayer, npc ghosts and npc characters but dont expect any synergy,) □□ lähetti viestin:-What I love is the skill customisation, ![]()
